Shift EV, an electric vehicle technology company is looking for an EV Aftersales Engineer  

 What you need to know 

Employers often say a lot in job descriptions, but what do they really mean? This role is about managing after-sales operations, ensuring vehicle repairs are done efficiently, and maintaining discipline, cleanliness, and productivity. You'll be supervising technicians, coordinating maintenance tasks, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate servicing. 

Breaking it down 

"Bachelor's degree or more in Automotive or Electrical Engineering……” Every job that lists a degree requirement does so for a reason. Shift EV is looking for professionals with a strong background in automotive or electrical engineering. You’ll need to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams, meaning theoretical knowledge isn’t enough - experience is required. If you tick these boxes, you’re exactly who Shift EV wants. 

The role is hands-on – Expect to be deep in the work. This means conducting maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting daily. If you find desk jobs dull and prefer a more practical role, this could be the right fit for you.
