Hey,

Welcome to Green Jobs Rising!

This is the 2026 fellowships and internships edition.

Are you wondering how to apply for and secure a fellowship?

Here are a few tips:

  • Start early and research thoroughly - Carefully review eligibility criteria, application requirements, and deadlines so you can tailor your application effectively.

  • Align your goals with the programme - Show how your academic interests, career goals, or projects connect with the fellowship’s mission. Selection panels want candidates whose work clearly supports their objectives.

  • Build a strong personal statement - Clearly explain your passion, achievements, leadership experience, and the impact you want to create. Use real examples to demonstrate your commitment and potential.

  • Secure strong recommendations - Choose referees who know your work and character well. Give them enough time and share your goals so they can write detailed and supportive recommendations.

  • Showcase relevant skills and experience - Highlight skills related to the fellowship focus area.

  • Follow instructions carefully - Ensure you submit all required documents, answer all questions, and formatting guidelines. Review your application multiple times and ask mentors or peers to provide feedback before submission.
