International Writing Workshops 2025
The intention of these workshops is to support early-career researchers in developing countries by stimulating professional networks, developing research partnerships, encouraging skills development, providing career advice, and promoting the uptake of research from developing countries.
ICT and Business Skills Training phase 6
This is a youth development initiative aimed at equipping young entrepreneurs aged 18 to 35 with tech-enabled skills to keep their small businesses relevant and competitive.
Sustainable Innovation Seed Accelerator
This is an 8-week program for seed-stage startups building solutions across Africa. This program is part of UNDP’s Timbuktoo Initiative and is designed for founders developing technology-enabled approaches in agriculture, mobility, the built environment, and energy. They are looking for bold, sustainability-driven companies ready to scale their vision and drive change.
ACET Youth Policy Lab 2025
The ACET Youth Policy Lab is a dynamic platform designed to empower young Africans to engage directly in policymaking by simulating real-world governance challenges. It blends the creativity of a hackathon with the rigor of policy design, inviting participants to step into the role of national decision-makers and craft practical, evidence-based solutions to pressing development issues.
FCMB-FMO AgriTech Investment Readiness Program 2025
This is a national initiative designed to help Nigeria's most promising agritech startups and SMEs build the capacity to secure funding, scale, and sustain long-term growth.
2026 Whitley Awards
Whitley Awards fund grassroots conservation leaders in the Global South and put an international spotlight on winners’ work.
Youth Ecopreneur Programme
The YECO Program is built for youth entrepreneurs under the age of 35 who are founders, co-founders, or CEOs. They’re looking for passionate innovators with a clear understanding of the environmental challenges they tackle and scalable solutions ready for acceleration.
Scaling digital Agriculture Innovations through Start-ups
The mission is to scale digital innovations for social impact by supporting tech startups from Africa, Sri Lanka, and beyond to become investment-ready and assisting them in raising funds for growth. This enables the startups to scale their innovations to more customers and users. The social impact indicators are income generation, improved nutrition, adaptation to climate change, and reduction of food and plastic waste.
The Essential Grant-Writing Skills Programme January/March 2026
This program aims to enable talented early-career health and health-related researchers from African countries to build skills to develop their own research and fellowship proposals of the quality required to win competitive international, regional, and national funding.
Digital News Transformation Fund
The Digital News Transformation Fund helps local and independent publishers grow digitally, produce impactful journalism, and build long-term sustainability.
2025 Global Career Accelerator
This is a program for up-and-coming factual filmmakers, digital producers, or anyone ready to take their career to the next level and bring their science, history, or natural history work to audiences around the world.
