Are you a law graduate or student looking for an opportunity in the sustainability sector?

Today, we’re unpacking a legal internship, Junior Legal Associate at Regen Organics, based in Nairobi, Kenya.

Regen Organics is a social venture turning city waste into insect protein, organic fertiliser, and biomass fuel.

This is a chance to work at the intersection of law and sustainability.

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll assist with tasks like:

  • Drafting demand letters

  • Conducting legal research

  • Preparing documentation

  • Managing case files

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) or Diploma in Law (or currently pursuing). Ideal if you’re a recent graduate or a student looking for part-time income.

  • Basic understanding of contract law and debt recovery in Kenya

  • Strong communication skills - written and verbal

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Your CV should highlight:

  • Law degree or diploma

  • Legal research and writing

  • Attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Bonus points if you have:

  • Internship experience in a legal department or law firm

  • Familiarity with debt recovery and commercial law
